Slyde
Slyde is a Slade/70’s Tribute Band from the UK which performs all over the World.
We are the perfect choice for any 1970's themed event, Christmas Party or New Year's Eve Ball, with an impressive stage show that covers many of the classic hits from that era.
The 1970's hosted one of the most flamboyant decades in the history of pop music. Artists such as Sweet, David Bowie, Wizzard, T-Rex and Mud championed the Glam Rock movement with the mighty Slade leading this wave across the UK into Europe and throughout the World.
We are proud to be the longest running tribute to Slade with the very kind endorsement of Noddy Holder (Slade's lead singer) and Don Powell (Slade's powerhouse drummer). Don has even performed with us during 70’s Weekenders and Slade Fan Club conventions.
Slyde have supported artists such as the Rubettes, Bay City Rollers, Smokie, Boney M and Alvin Stardust to mention just a few.
We are happy to perform at any venue from large stadiums to small private parties and have made several appearances on Radio and Television such as the Trisha Christmas Special to an audience of 1.7 million viewers.
